The Innovation Centre at the Teluk Laikang coastal site in South Sulawesi is being developed as the company's physical base for innovation and applied seaweed science. The 4.2 ha site includes existing aquaculture pools and space for tanks, labs, warehousing, drying, research, and future pilot activities.

The Centre is planned as a working site where biomass can be cultivated, characterized, processed at pilot scale, and prepared for customer or research evaluation. Its operating model connects site teams, scientists, students, farmers, product developers, and commercial partners. Initial activity is focused on onshore cultivation, Demonstration ponds, wet-lab work, and site preparation. Additional laboratories, processing modules, training facilities, and accommodation will be added in phases as approvals and funding are secured.

The Centre is being developed through staged investment. Each phase should have a defined output and a public status so visitors can see what has been delivered and what remains subject to funding, approvals, and technical validation.

The pilot processing area is intended to connect harvested biomass with product development. Planned activities may include drying, cleaning, grading, milling, extraction, filtration, fermentation, formulation, and preparation of customer samples.

Potential pilot outputs include biostimulant prototypes, functional ingredients, fucoidan fractions, feed materials, biochar or bioplastic research samples, and other products selected through the research pipeline.

The Centre is designed to support practical training, student internships, technical workshops, and early-stage product development. The cooperation agreement with local universities provides a framework for education, research, workforce development, and applied innovation, including student engagement at the site under company supervision.

Training programs combine safe site operations, cultivation records, quality standards, basic laboratory practice, and commercial awareness.

We offer guided visits for investors, research partners, customers, students, and public-sector stakeholders by appointment.

A visit can include the coastal site, cultivation systems, demonstration ponds, laboratories, pilot areas, and a project briefing, subject to operational and safety conditions. Visitors must follow site rules, use required personal protective equipment, and respect confidential information, research materials, and local community arrangements.

In future the Centre will offer residential facilities for researchers, visitors, clients and investors who wish to spend more time on site.
