The initial focus is on the Company’s Indonesian seaweed operations, including cultivation and procurement from independent farmers. Key data captured and authenticated in #dltledger’s Proteus Chain of Compliance Platform includes (but not limited to):

  • Date of planting seaweed cultivars.
  • Species of seaweed cultivar planted.
  • Location of seaweed planted (Example Sulawesi, Batam etc.).
  • Date of harvesting.
  • Amount in wet weight harvested in that batch.
  • Amount in dry weight acquired after processing in that batch and
  • Shipping info per batch (delivery of product to clients).

Temasek Polytechnic

Critical mineral identification and extraction project.

Highlights
  • Critical Mineral extraction: Phycomining techniques to unlock essential minerals

Singapore Polytechnic

Fermented Seaweed Beverage Project.

  • Fermentation using sea grapes (Caulerpa Lentillifera) from Johor Malaysia, as sea grapes are known to have excellent properties and are readily fermentable.
  • The project objective is to develop a health promoting beverage that helps to manage blood sugar levels, while also tasting great and appealing to the market. The development process includes creating the perfect blend of ingredients and fine-tuning fermentation to enhance the drink’s probiotic and anti-hyperglycemic potential. The project also includes shelf-life testing to ensure the beverage safety, stability, and acceptability, by conducting microbiological, physicochemical, and sensory analyses.

BPH Bioremediation Program

Restoring Coastal Ecosystems, Recovering Hidden Value

BPH Global’s Seaweed Bio-remediation Project is designed to clean polluted coastal waters — especially those impacted by mining and mineral processing. By cultivating seaweed along affected shorelines, we harness nature’s ability to absorb excess nutrients, heavy metals, and contaminants, restoring marine balance and water quality.

The harvested biomass is transformed into value-added products such as bio-stimulants, nutraceuticals, and biochar, while also enabling the recovery of critical minerals like nickel, cobalt, and rare earth elements.

This project exemplifies BPH Global’s Blue Economy vision — where sustainability meets innovation, turning pollution into opportunity and waste into value.
